The Indian Scheduled Tribes & Scheduled Castes Development Society is a grassroots non-profit organisation committed to improving the lives of Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste communities through education, healthcare, livelihood development, women’s empowerment, sanitation, and social welfare initiatives.
Our organisation is rooted in rural West Bengal, working directly with underserved communities to bridge social gaps, promote awareness, and deliver sustainable development programmes that create lasting positive change.

Education Programme
We believe education is the key to lasting change. Through free coaching, academic support, and school enrolment initiatives, we help children from underserved communities access quality learning and build a brighter future with confidence.
Awareness Programmes
Through awareness drives on women’s rights, environmental protection, anti-drug campaigns, AIDS prevention, and government welfare schemes, we empower communities with knowledge that leads to informed decisions and inclusive development.
Sanitation Programme
We organise health awareness camps, mother and child care programmes, sanitation initiatives, and menstrual hygiene campaigns to improve overall well-being while encouraging healthier lifestyles across rural communities.

Mother & Child Care
A mother’s health is a family’s foundation. Through our Mother & Child Care programme, we bring essential health information directly to women in remote and underserved areas. We work to ensure that no mother is left without the knowledge she needs to protect her child.
Games & Sports
We organise an annual sports event for school children from surrounding areas, creating a space where young people can compete, grow, and shine. Winners and standout performers are recognised and awarded- because every child deserves a moment
Protecting Women & Young Girls
The burden of inadequate sanitation falls most heavily on women and adolescent girls — robbing them of safety, privacy, and dignity every single day. Our sanitation programme places their needs at the centre, ensuring that improved facilities and awareness
Free Coaching & Remedial Classes
Not every child who struggles in school lacks potential — many simply lack support. Our free coaching programme has enrolled 48 students from SC/ST families, offering them the additional academic push they need to keep up
